French Toast Crème Brûlée | Weekly Rewind 10.27.19

Life Happenings

🍂On Sunday, I was able to see some of my students on their Pathfinder's marching competition. One of them stole the entire show. They took out Puerto Rican flags and had a choreography with them. Just for that, I wanted them to win!

🍂My best friend and I were finally able to see each other! We went to Mona Restaurant and had French Toast creme brulee (the MOST delicious thing ever), waffles, pancakes with nutella. I also had a 16oz Iced Coffee with Hazelnut, Praline and Caramel flavors. But it's been so long since I've had coffee that, because I drank the entire thing, I only slept 3 hours that night because I kept waking up.

🍂So... My students had never seen me with straight hair. I went to school with straight hair and make up. Let's say I was the talk of the entire middle an high school. Their eyes followed me everywhere, it was embarrassing.

🍂The girls volleyball team have won ALL of the games! The boys have lost them all, except for this last one that I went to and we had such a blast!

Week In Reading

I'm kicking myself so hard for never continuing the Shatter Me series, but at the same time, I'm so happy I went the audio route with this one. It's exactly how it should be experienced. It completely blew me away! I WAS TEAM WARNER FROM THE BEGINNING! STILL AM!
The Library of Lost Things was truly wonderful, but for some reason, I couldn't get fully into it.
I'm kind of upset about Half Truths. Everyone seems to love it and I just can't see what people loved so much. It was entertaining, but there were so many flaws with this story.
Oopsie Daisy was so funny and quirky!

Week In Haul

Everyone knows I adore Lauren Layne! I've heard Yours In Scandal is steamy so I'm excited to dive back into LL's steamy writing.
I've been anticipating Oopsie Daisy since I read the first book in this stand-alone series! Reading the blurb got me even more excited for it!
Adequate Yearly Progress peaked my interest! It's a fiction about teachers and how Hollywood is changing the portrayal about how a teacher should be (and not in a good way). I'm excited!

Harlequin is hosting a Christmas blog tour and I got offered a list to choose from. An Alaskan Christmas had me saying yes super quickly! It's the best-friend's-brother trope set in Alaska!
Cowboy Christmas Redemption will twist my heart, I just know it. And I'm here for it!

Thanks to the publishers, authors and publicists for these copies!

Physical ARCs | Won

Entangled Teen sent me a promotional box of Sick Kids in Love! I adore the cover of the book so much!
I won She's the Worst through The FFBC tours!!

Thanks to the publishers, authors and publicists for these copies!

I love Claire Contreras so I had to get this!
