Life Happenings

🍂 This was a slow week, in my opinion. It's been getting chilly where I live so at night, I've been making caffeine free coffee with rice milk and it's been just the perfect thing! One night, I decided to watch some Gilmore Girls by myself and then a nature documentary with hubby. It was the best night ever ♥

🍂 The hubby surprised me with a rose! I've been taking care of it and it's still alive! Lots of talking to it, singing to it, giving it kisses.

🍂 My students complimented me on my wardrobe so I'm happy about that! I never thought they'd like modest clothing but every time I wear a midi skirt, the girls love it!

🍂 I surprised my 9th graders with a very difficult test. Okay, tbh, it wasn't that hard. If they had been paying attention in class, they wouldn't have been scared. But there was this one day that they decided to nap while I was giving class. So a lot of what came in the test was what I gave that day. To say they were sh*tting themselves is an understatement. (One of the students was even shaking out of fear for the questions on the test because they all had no idea how to answer any of it.) Now, they tell each other to shut up if they're talking and to pay attention. My work here is done.

Week In Reading

I really loved All the Way! It's a friends-to-lovers that was amazing!!♥
Luc stole my heart entirely in The Burning Shadow! 😍 Also, I can't believe we have to wait until next year. ANOTHER ALSO! I think I figured out the title for the third book! I bombarded Tanya with voice notes. She got my complete unfiltered self 😂

Week In Haul

eARCs

I've been wanting both You Deserve Each Other and Moonlighter so I was a very happy potato when I got both this week!

Thanks to the publishers, authors and publicists for these copies!

Audiobook (Libby) | eBook

Everyone has been talking about One of Us is Lying so I snagged the audio from Libby and I'm so happy I did! I loved that right from the start we get the action and then it's a guessing game throughout the entire novel. I have to say, I figured it out way early on, but it was still phenomenal!

Books for my classroom

I got some books from Scholastic for my classroom! I want to make a reading corner in my classroom for my students. I'm accepting book donations! If you have any books to donate, feel free to message me!
