Life Happenings

🌻I went to the beach!!!!! Freaking finally! Ugh, it was so nice! The sun was shining so bright and the water was a turquoise blue that had me in love! I went with my husband and my in-laws. I'm not kidding when I say I have the best in-laws. Even my friends agree with me. They have been the best parents in the entire world. I could write an entire book about their kindness and I would probably have to write a sequel, as well. Below is a picture of my mother-in-law and I!

No filter needed for this paradise 😍
🌻After the beach, my mother-in-law insisted on a pizza party. She had stocked up on Daiya Pizza so we had that, along with pasta, sweet plantain and avocado! My Puerto Rican heart was happy!

🌻I've been going a tad crazy. Apparently, my 7th graders are notorious bullies/cyberbullies. The director told me it's been going on since they were in 6th grade. Dealing with it has been... Interesting and quite sad. I really hope these kids realize what they're doing is completely wrong.

🌻On another note, K.A. Tucker announced the sequel to The Simple Wild, which will be called Wild at Heart and I'm so beyond happy! TSW has to be my fave Tucker novel so I'm excited to read more about Jonah and Calla!

The black things are Lindsay's Black Olives. They're the ONLY olives I eat (or Field Day's) because they don't have vinegar; therefore, the taste isn't strong.

Week In Reading

The Simple Wild was so perfect *cue all the sobs* The audio was definitely the route to go for this book. It made me feel all the emotions!
Love on Lexington Avenue was really cute. It got me even more excited for Audrey's story!
Another was so freaking good! Carina and Ian's banter was hilarious and the tug-of-war they had going on made the story even better! The wait for Hannah's story will be super long!
