Life Happenings

🌻I had a wonderful experience at school this week with two students. One of them seeked refuge with me with some things he was going through. Another student has been for years at the school I'm teaching and he hadn't opened up to any teacher about a disorder he has until I gave a class on Descriptive Writing and he opened up, writing about his disorder. I was in shock and felt my heart warming at this. God definitely knew He wanted me at this school to be a difference and I'm so happy He's using me.
I did have another really sad experience with a student and same thing. He opened up to me about things that had me in tears. I'm just hoping God keeps giving me His wisdom to deal with this tough situation that my student is going through.

🌻Because of teaching, I've barely gotten any sleep nor eaten. I'm hoping to organize myself better soon because it's taken a major toll on me. I got sick. On Saturday, I spent it sneezing all day long and with allergies all day long as well.

🌻Aside from getting sick, I was able to see one of my friends and see her new house! We were able to catch up for a while, and I was also able to see another friend of mine whom I hadn't seen since December. I basically dropped by with a 5 minute warning I was arriving LOL Thankfully, he was happy to see me.

🌻ALSO! My husband and I are searching for houses! We've never lived by ourselves before so I'm looking forward to this so much!

Week In Reading

Nina's novel started out strong but kept being so dragged out that it ended up boring me.
Ryan's novel was so good! I cannot wait for Becca's story! That preview was everything I never knew I needed!
