That's a Wrap, February

And that's a wrap! While I read around 22 books in January, February proved to be a slower month, and I'm learning to accept it and not be sad about it. I did read 3 fantasy books! For some reason, it always takes me longer to read fantasy. Am I the only one that happens to?

Anyway, here's to all the books I read in February!

A Court of Silver Flames is way more than I bargained for. I have never related to or identified with a character as I did with Nesta. I could feel myself bonding with her pain and struggles, because hers are my own. So, thank you, Sarah J Maas, for giving Nesta her deserved story that many of us only hope to achieve one day. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Spoiler-free review)

The Spanish Love Deception is everything. You get the laugh-out-loud banter, a slow-burn chemistry with sexual tension that is just on the verge of exploding, and when it does explode, it is hot, beautiful, sensual and intimate! ⁣⁣Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Review)

Dark Romance | Smutty

In Peace Lies Havoc is so intoxicatingly addicting! The story and the characters, all got under my skin, and I don't see the day when they'll leave. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫

The Architect ... This book... I've read the first books in this series and they were amazing, but this one really is SMUTTY! Y'all, I honestly needed an ice-bath. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Master of Salt and Bones: I found the first half of the book to be slow and dragging, but it ended up being an interesting story. I was so intrigued by the male main character and his kinks. Spoiler alert: they were hot and borderline dangerous. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐💫

Fantasy | Contemporary Fiction

The Assassin's Blade: I was bored with most of this book. I only liked two of the novellas; the rest were unnecessary and simpler fillers. Rating: ⭐⭐

Throne of Glass: This one was a re-read. I'm hoping to finally get through this series and push through. I'm doing this for Rowan, people, because I want to meet him. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐💫

Dark Horses is a very important read. It deals with sexual abuse from a very close family member. And I did enjoy the author's writing. Unfortunately, I didn't care for or feel anything towards Roan as a character. The story could have been shorter, since it didn't really add much to the overall outcome. Rating: ⭐⭐💫

I was almost done with another book! I read 82% of Taut Strings by Gabrielle Sands, but I kept falling asleep last night and couldn't finish it. Still, most of it was read during February!

Anyway, let me know down below if you've read or are planning to read any of these!
