Life is a mixed bag for Piper Calloway.

On the one hand, she’s a twenty-nine-year-old VP at her dad’s multibillion-dollar real estate development firm, and living the high single life with her two best friends in a swanky downtown penthouse. On the other hand, she’s considered a pair of sexy legs in a male-dominated world and constantly has to prove her worth. Plus, she’s stuck seeing her narcissistic ex-fiancĂ©—a fellow VP—on the other side of her glass office wall every day.

Things get exponentially more complicated for Piper when she runs into Kyle Miller—the handsome new security guard at Calloway Group Industries, and coincidentally the first love of her life.

The guy she hasn’t seen or heard from since they were summer camp counsellors together. The guy from the wrong side of the tracks. The guy who apparently doesn’t even remember her name.

Piper may be a high-powered businesswoman now, but she soon realizes that her schoolgirl crush is not only alive but stronger than ever, and crippling her concentration. What’s more, despite Kyle’s distant attitude, she’s convinced their reunion isn’t at all coincidental, and that his feelings for her still run deep. And she’s determined to make him admit to them, no matter the consequences.
Because, even after all these years, with college and boyfriends, and my career and my engagement to David, Kyle Miller has always been a sliver in my heart, a shadow in my thoughts. A lingering “what if” that I have never been able to truly shake.

Piper comes from a wealthy family. But her mom wants her to see how it is to work for something, and so she sends her to Camp Wawa for a summer to be a counselor. Piper doesn't want to be there at all, but she meets Ashley, someone who becomes a close friend; Eric, a foolish yet fun guy; Kyle, the guy who turned out to be her first love.

It's a summer filled with jumping off cliffs, games of two truths and a lie, eating fun dips, bets, breaking the rules, golf carts, etc. It's all about having fun with this group and getting into crazy shenanigans. Unfortunately, an accident happens and this group of counselors gets kicked out. With it, comes promises of staying in touch, but Kyle Miller never kept those promises.  It can't possibly be him. It can't be the boy who broke my heart.

Years later, Piper is being groomed to take over her father's company. And obviously, there's a mysoginist employee who believes the company shouldn't be run by a woman, and I love how Piper is always one upping him and putting him in his place.

There's also David, the ex, who believes the world revolves around him. I have to point out how much I enjoyed David. I was so sure I'd hate him but he grew on me. He stood by Piper many times, and gave her lots of harmless banter that I was loving. In his own way, he still had feelings for Piper and wanted to get back together, and Piper would always point him to the door.

“Go forth and find thee thy perfect doormat.”

When Kyle comes in the picture again, he "forgets" Piper and she's just livid about it. I loved seeing Kyle and Piper come to terms to where they are now. Sure, Kyle still thinks that Piper shouldn't date him because of how he doesn't come from money. Piper being Piper, doesn't listen and it's so sweet seeing them reconnect!

It’s kismet that we’ve crossed paths. Kismet that we can’t seem to stay away from each other. The universe wants us to pick up where we left off, to erase the damage inflicted upon our young hearts.

The major highlights for me in this book are:

The flashbacks to 2006 Camp Wawa: It got me so nostalgic! KA Tucker wrote this story in a way I dove in and submerged myself in this story. I pictured everything so vividly in my head and I felt like I was one of the counselors at Camp Wawa! It was beyond fun to read about these memories and made me want to go back to camp and also be foolish.

The friendships: I loved every single friendship here but my fave one had to be Eric's and Ashley's, or Freckles, which is the nickname he gave her. Those two were cute and so much fun to read about! But Eric's character takes the cake! He's so foolishly hilarious, kinda reckless, but I had the most fun with him!

The romance in 2006 Camp Wawa: Even though Kyle and Piper reconnect years later, I felt most of their connection back when they were at camp. Reading about it reminded me of a cute YA story and I was so giddy! I was possibly grinning the entire time I was reading their time at camp!

I can still see the boy I was crazy about from the moment I first saw him, waiting at the bottom for me, taunting me.

Overall, Say You Still Love Me is a nostalgic second-chance romance of summer love, memories and fun camp happenings that will make you want to go back to camp with Piper, Kyle, Eric and Ashley!
